On Saturday August 14th a 7.2 magnitude earthquake struck Haiti, leaving thousands (and unfortunately rising) dead, and many more with serious injuries. In addition to the death and injury toll, tens of thousands of homes destroyed. Just days after, Tropical Storm Grace battered the country, exacerbating the humanitarian crisis facing the poorest country in the Americas. Urgent assistance is needed to provide essentials like medical and hygiene supplies, food, water, and shelter.
